1. What we collect

We process the URLs you submit, screenshots and technical data of the audited pages, and — on our public website — analytics about how visitors use our pages. We do not sell personal data.

2. How audit data is used

Screenshots and extracted page data are used solely to generate your audit report and to compare consecutive audits of the same site. They are not used to train AI models.

3. Website analytics and cookies

On our public website we use Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use our pages — pages viewed, clicks, scrolling and general session behaviour, including aggregated session replays. It sets its own cookies and may use cross-site identifiers. It loads only after you accept analytics cookies in our cookie banner; if you choose “Necessary only” or “Decline”, it is not loaded. Microsoft acts as our processor and may process this data outside the EU under standard contractual clauses. See our Cookie Policy for details and opt-out options.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

For users in the European Union, processing of your account and audit data is based on the performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in operating and improving the Service (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Analytics cookies are set only with your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time.

5. Data retention

Audit artifacts are retained while your project is active so that regression tracking works across audits. You may request deletion of a project and all its audits at any time.

6. Subprocessors

We use infrastructure, analytics and AI-model providers (including Microsoft for website analytics) as subprocessors. A current list is available on request. All subprocessors are bound by data-processing agreements.

7. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify, export, and erase your personal data, and to object to processing. Contact privacy@acroptic.com to exercise these rights.
